i think people of the opposite gender has more chance of being selected.
and it could also be because you have more friends of the opposite gender.

I hope other websites don’t pick up on this emotional appeal thing. “Apple Developer Connection will throw itself off a bridge if you don’t download the eighth beta 3.0 SDK.” “Google is going to sit in a corner now because you switched off the IM widget.”

Also, the “I don’t feel safe on Facebook” option is vaguely creepy.
